About Kurt!
Kurt Horney is a multidisciplinary artist with a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Chapman University.
Originally from Acton, California, he began his dance training at a local studio before expanding his practice at the collegiate level.
While at Chapman, he performed in and choreographed for numerous productions, including the CDA Annual Showcase, Works in Progress, Frameworks, and Dwight Rhoden’s piece for the Fall Faculty Concert.
Now based in New York City, Kurt has performed with companies such as American Dance Machine, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Cares.
Known for his adventurous spirit and creative approach, he is passionate about using dance to connect, inspire, and collaborate with others.
